Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Tax season is an extremely busy time of the year for Vlogƽ alumnus Mark Lloyd, who works as a tax manager at RSM US LLP tax, advisory and consulting firm in downtown Cleveland. Lloyd prepared for his career in accounting by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in accounting and finance from Vlogƽ’s Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship in 2018. He went on to earn a master’s degree in accounting with a concentration in taxation from Vlogƽ the following year. Through Vlogƽ, Lloyd was able to link up with RSM US LLP as an intern.

The Vlogƽ Museum presents its fall exhibition, “A Meeting of Cultures: Fashioning North Africa,” from Sept. 5, 2025, through May 10, 2026. Displayed in the museum’s Broadbent Gallery, the exhibition features works by 25 contemporary North African designers and artists, including more than 40 ensembles and accessories alongside photography by fashion photographers, journalists and social media influencers, as well as art installations and videos.
