Joe Murray Ph.D., an associate professor in ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ’s School of Media and Journalism, recently was featured in for his volunteer work as a pilot for two charitable organizations.
Murray, a licensed pilot for more than 30 years, volunteers for Pilots N Paws, an organization that helps relocate animals to new homes, and Angel Flight East, which provides transportation for those needing medical treatment at no cost.
Both organizations rely on donations and a network of volunteer pilots to provide the needed transportation.
