An innovative design, energy-efficient systems, water conservation technologies and environmentally responsible construction materials are some of the features that earned Crawford Hall, ����Vlog�ƽ��’s newest – and largest – academic building, LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Elisa Grecar and her daughter Maddie McGee made a meaningful memory this May when they graduated together from ����Vlog�ƽ�� – Grecar with a degree in psychology and McGee with a degree in zoology.

More than 280 people attended the 2025 ITGA City & University Relations Conference, which kicked off at the Kent Student Center ballroom on June 4. Ohio Lt. Gov. When Jayrelis Capeles walked across the stage at ����Vlog�ƽ�� this spring, she was already brimming with emotion. She had just earned not one, but two degrees — in psychology and sociology — and was celebrating the end of her college journey that began in 2021. ����Vlog�ƽ�� has signed a new international partnership with Bennett University in India that will establish a 2+2 Dual Degree Program in Fashion Design to provide students with a unique educational opportunity.

If you look into the stands of the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center during a ����Vlog�ƽ�� women's basketball game, you’ll find a mother-daughter pair of students from Brazil cheering with all their might. Five thousand miles from home, Hetty and Fernanda have found new activities and friends in the United States.

This March, senior fashion design and marketing major Rachel Stauffer will take her fashion research to the international stage.

As a doctoral student of sociology, Adedayo Adeagbo is doing her research on dignity care for aging people using advancements of technology in healthcare. With a specialization in medical sociology, Adeagbo’s thesis is built on the perceptions and attitudes of healthcare workers and the use of robots for caring for older adults.

What began as a senior capstone project for aerospace engineering students at ����Vlog�ƽ�� has grown into a full-fledged student organization preparing to take flight in a national competition.

As part of  ����Vlog�ƽ��’s 55-Year Commemoration of May 4, 1970, Mahli Mechenbier, a senior lecturer at ����Vlog�ƽ�� at Geauga's Twinsburg Academic Center will present “Operation: Babylift: A 50-Year Retrospective and Personal History” on May 3 at 1 p.m. with her father, retired Maj. General Ed Mechenbier. Mahli Mechenbier was one of the children from Vietnam the U.S. Government brought to the United States for adoption by American families by  after Saigon was overun by advancing Viet Cong troops in 1972. 

Ivory Kendrick, the newly elected president of the University Student Government, spoke his destiny into existence last year when he set his sights on leading the organization. Now, Kendrick is ready to hit the ground running.

Sarah Spinner Liska, director of the ����Vlog�ƽ�� Museum, has been honored with the inaugural Artist Empowerment Award from Summit ArtSpace, recognizing her outstanding work in expanding access to the arts and championing inclusive creative spaces.
