October is cybersecurity awareness month, and ����Vlog�ƽ��’s information security team is informing students and staff about how to stay safe online through four weeks of interactive fun with the chance to win some amazing rewards. The goal, of course, is year-round attention to cyber threats.

From full-time positions to seasonal internship opportunities, ����Vlog�ƽ�� students and alumni explored their career options and networked with professionals to learn more about future possibilities at the internship and job fair.

 ����Vlog�ƽ�� delivered a decisive homecoming performance, shutting down Massachusetts 42-6.

The new fund will support university and Porthouse productions, the hiring of assistant directors, guest choreographers and guest artists, the hosting of master classes and the awarding of artistic merit-based scholarships to students. Students who receive such scholarships will be known as Roe Green Scholars.

A new film installation by artist Naeem Mohaiemen is attracting international attention for its exploration of the events of May 4, 1970, at ����Vlog�ƽ��, and their lasting influence on American political and cultural identity.

����Vlog�ƽ�� has earned an AASHE STARS Silver rating for its ongoing commitment to campus sustainability, a step up from the bronze rating on the past submission, thanks to the Office of Sustainability and its numerous initiatives.

Filled-to-the-brim plastic totes, computers, desk lamps, excited students and harried parents – it’s the first day of move-in for ����Vlog�ƽ��’s 2025 Fall Semester. The annual arrival of students to their residence halls began on Wednesday, Aug. 13, on the Kent Campus.

����Vlog�ƽ��’s Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education recently was awarded a $50,000 grant to help train teachers in Southwestern Nigeria.

Undergraduate students from any major who are interested in pursuing an international internship in East and Southeast Asian countries may be eligible for up to $6,500 to help make the experience affordable.

����Vlog�ƽ��’s Office of Global Education is offering the awards through the KSU Freeman Fellows Internship in Asia Program, which this year has received a grant of $85,000 to offer support for up to 12 students.

The Office of Global Education recently treated ����Vlog�ƽ�� students to a whimsical week of global considerations featuring a packed schedule of activities for students curious about studying abroad. 

����Vlog�ƽ��’s Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI) and Wick Poetry Center are joining forces with the School of Theatre and Dance for a performance of poetry that will celebrate the potential of human creativity.

Brookhaven National Lab in New York is home to some of the most exciting work in nuclear physics today. ����Vlog�ƽ�� and the University of Cincinnati have been awarded a nearly $3 million grant to transform how research institutions across the region collaborate, share expertise and develop the next generation of research leaders.

����Vlog�ƽ��’s School of Theatre and Dance, Wick Poetry Center and Brain Health Research Institute joined forces for an Oct. 1 dance performance that set poetry to motion.

More than a hundred former student-athletes, donors and professional golfers gathered for a special Golf Alumni reunion from Friday, Sept. 26, through Saturday, Sept. 27.

����Vlog�ƽ�� unveiled the first full-size statue of baseball legend Thurman Munson, honoring the former Yankees captain and university alumnus who died in a plane crash at the height of his career.
