Kicking Off the Fall Semester With Pride

Before classes began for Fall Semester 2024, the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center welcomed the university's LGBTQ+ community back to campus with a Fall Kickoff event.

The university welcomed ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ's Class of 2024 in grand style at this year's convocation with inspirational speeches from university administrators,  rally towels, strobe lights, Golden Flash cheerleaders and the Marching Golden Flashes band.

Rally towels, strobe lights and the Marching Golden Flashes added to the celebration on Aug. 16, when ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ welcomed its Class of 2028 with a rocking pep rally at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.

Fulbright Scholars assemble prosthetic hands as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ.

Fulbright Scholars at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ for American Higher Education Immersion

For the past month, ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the Kent Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.

The FAFSA cycle for the 2024-25 school year is not over.
