ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Graduate Taylor Pendrith, ‘14, earned the Canada Life Candian Player of the Year honors on the Mackenzie Tour -- PGA TOUR Canada on Sunday, Sept. 15. This is Pendrith’s second time receiving the honor in the past four years.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ pride.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Geauga Campus is a rigorous academic environment that requires serious discipline, study, practice, and testing. It’s also an intimate environment of friends, instructors, and mentors who support each other from one challenge to the next, and inspire one another to reach out for the benefit of others. As a student association, they give back to the community through fundraising, strengthening the nursing program for future students and charitable outreach throughout the region.

ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond Campus 

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.
