Flu Shot Clinics Still Available

Employees enrolled in one of the university-sponsored group health plans through Medical Mutual or Anthem are eligible for a free flu shot. You must bring your insurance ID card with you to the clinic. If you are not covered by one of the university’s group health plans, you can still participate for $30 (check payable to ��Vlog�ƽ��).

The following clinics are available. Registration is required.

The flu shot clinics are open to all ��Vlog�ƽ�� students, faculty, staff and dependents. For questions regarding the flu vaccine clinics, contact University Health Services at 330-672-2322.

A group of ��Vlog�ƽ�� students, alumni and other volunteers plant trees at the new Climate Change Grove.

��Vlog�ƽ�� is again showing its commitment to sustainability with its new climate change grove that also offers opportunities for research. The tree grove, located behind the Student Recreation and Wellness Center on the Kent Campus, was created through a partnership between University Facilities Management and the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences. The trees were planted by students, ��Vlog�ƽ�� alumni and other volunteers during the university’s annual Alumni Day of Service.

��Vlog�ƽ�� Receives First LEED Platinum Recognition for New Architecture Building

��Vlog�ƽ��’s Center for Architecture and Environmental Design has received LEED Platinum recognition, the highest ranking for the LEED system. It is ��Vlog�ƽ��’s first LEED Platinum building.

A green roof and a geothermal heating and cooling system that is 300 percent more efficient than standard systems are a few of the sustainability features that helped ��Vlog�ƽ��’s Center for Architecture and Environmental Design receive LEED Platinum recognition.
