Thanks to a collaborative effort between Spectrum; the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; the Division of Human Resources; and the Division of Information Services, the first phase of the Preferred Name system is now active for faculty and staff at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ!
 
Phase one will allow faculty and staff to update their preferred name in the following systems:
1.    Banner SSB – This includes HR web directory, phone directory, shared table integration, text changes.
2.    OIM email display, windows computer login, contact card display, OWA, MS TEAMS/Planner, etc.
3.    Phone Display (Simply submit a ticket for manual entry).
4.    Blackboard (Class Roster) LEARN interface.  
5.    FlashLine Employee Portal.
 
Phase two of the system updates is scheduled to begin in January. 
To submit a Preferred Name, log into Flashline and follow the path shown below:
