EHHS Professors Kuo and Novak Receive Platinum Teaching Recognition Award

Professors Chia-Ling Kuo, Ph.D. (left), and Elena Novak, Ph.D., each received the Platinum Teaching Recognition Award from the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Center for Teaching and Learning.

Kuo received her award for The Positive Influence of Creative Computing on Preservice Elementary Teachers’ Beliefs ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Teaching Computing in Elementary Schools. Novak received an award for her work, The Positive Influence of Creative Computing on Preservice Elementary Teachers’ Beliefs ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ Teaching Computing in Elementary Schools.

Presented by the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Teaching Recognition Awards program recognizes actions that enhance teaching and learning at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ. The program allows instructors to earn tiered awards (bronze, silver, gold and platinum) for their efforts to learn about, implement, evaluate and investigate evidence-based instructional practices. All instructors at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ, including graduate students and faculty of all appointment types (TT, NTT, adjunct) are eligible to participate.

The PLATINUM AWARD recognizes scholarly dissemination and leadership in the area of teaching and learning.
