The following new members have been appointed to serve on the National Alumni Board of Directors for terms commencing July 1:

Louis Berroteran, ’83, of Silver Lake, Ohio, is the president and managing member of The Berroteran Group, LLC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ in 1983.

David Dees, Ph.D. ’00, of Lisbon, Ohio, has been appointed the faculty representative. David is an associate professor of Cultural Foundations at ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in cultural foundations in 2000 from ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ.

Jordyn Kovolyan, ’14, M.B.A. ’20, of Lakewood, Ohio, is the senior manager of business development for the Cleveland Cavaliers. She earned a Bachelor of Science in educational studies and a Master of Business Administration from ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ in 2014 and 2020, respectively.

Nancy Murphy, ’80, of Perryville, Maryland, served in the U.S. Army as a military intelligence and field artillery officer and retired as an elementary school educator with more than 20 years of service. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in art history from ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ in 1980.

Stephanie Sweany, ’05, of Canton, Ohio, is the executive director of the Stark County Hunger Task Force. She earned her Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies from ÌÇÐÄVlogÆÆ½â°æ in 2005.
